How it works…
We believe in total transparency. Above is a list of every piece of material used to build one house, and below is the cost (in Indonesian Rupiah) per unit of material. In order to help the local people affected in each area the project is taking place in, we look to local suppliers to ensure the money is recirculated into the local economy. Resources are mostly natural, and found nearby to where the shelters are built so as to decrease transportation needs and also minimise our carbon footprint.
